Gulf Oil, an international oil company with a rich racing heritage, is launching in South Africa. Plans are underway to develop 10 new filling station sites with a modern, contextual South African design, including unique finishing touches to the station and convenience store, called Refill. The first completed development was at the group’s heritage site in Yeoville, Johannesburg. This was the first ever filling station owned by the group and has now been rebranded as Gulf Monza.
Future Gulf filling stations around the country will follow the international racetrack naming conventions, to complement the brand’s racing heritage.
